What are premium credits?
Premium voices use credits as they read: one credit for each character. Premium includes 400,000 credits a month, which reset every month. A few of the highest-quality voices use two credits per character.
Need more? Credit packs add 400,000 credits for $4, never expire, and are used automatically once your monthly credits run out. Your browser's built-in voices never use credits.
Can I hear the premium voices before I upgrade?
Yes. Listen to samples of every voice on the premium voices page.
How do I start using Premium after I upgrade?
Sign in to the Voice Out extension with the same account, or open the activation page. Premium voices then show up in the voice selector, and the Reader unlocks at voiceout.app/app.
Which browsers and devices does Voice Out work on?
The Voice Out extension works in Chrome and Edge on Windows, Mac, Linux and ChromeOS. With Premium, the Reader also works in the browser on your phone or tablet. One subscription covers every device you sign in on.

How do I pay?
Pay with PayPal, or with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and most other debit and credit cards. We never see or store your card number.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes. Yearly works out to $4 a month instead of $6. To switch, email [email protected] and we'll move you over.
How do I cancel?
Go to Account settings and click Cancel subscription. There are no cancellation fees. You keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to the Free plan.
Can I move my subscription to a different account?
Yes. Email [email protected] from the account that paid and tell us which account to move it to.
